Overnight journey: Delhi to Manali

Arrive in Manali in the morning and check in to your hotel for some well-deserved rest after the overnight journey. Later, meet the Indiatrek Adventure team for a detailed trip briefing covering the route, riding guidelines, safety protocols, and essential information for the expedition.

In the afternoon, explore the highlights of Manali, including the beautiful Hadimba Temple, Tibetan Monasteries, Old Manali, Manu Temple, and the lively Mall Road. Spend the evening enjoying the local cafés, shopping, and the vibrant mountain atmosphere before returning to the hotel.

Overnight stay: Manali

Start your day early as the real Himalayan biking adventure begins. Ride through dramatic mountain roads, crossing the iconic Atal Tunnel and entering the raw landscapes of the Lahaul–Spiti region. Continue via Gramphu and Batal, where rugged terrain, river crossings, and open valleys bring pure adventure to life. Stop at the beautiful Inder Waterfall for a refreshing break and scenic photography. By evening, arrive in Kaza, check into your stay, and unwind after an unforgettable high-altitude ride.

Overnight stay: Kaza

After breakfast, head out to explore the legendary villages around Kaza. Visit Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, and send a postcard from the top of the world. Ride further to Komic, one of the highest motorable villages, surrounded by silence, mountains, and a peaceful monastery vibe. Continue to Langza, famous for its giant Buddha statue and ancient marine fossils scattered across the land. Return to Kaza by evening for rest and a warm dinner under the cold desert sky.

Dinner and overnight stay: Kaza

Depart Kaza and ride through one of the most scenic routes of Spiti. En route, visit Key Monastery, a centuries-old spiritual landmark perched on a hilltop, and experience breathtaking valley views. Cross the famous Chicham Bridge, one of Asia’s highest suspension bridges, standing above a deep Himalayan gorge. Continue towards Chandratal via rugged mountain roads. Reach the stunning crescent-shaped lake, located at 4,300m, where turquoise water meets endless silence. In the evening, enjoy a magical sunset and a star-filled sky before staying overnight in camps under freezing Himalayan beauty.

Begin early from Chandratal and ride back through Batal and Chatru, enjoying the raw and untouched beauty of the Himalayas one last time. Reach Manali by afternoon, return bikes, and relax before your onward journey. Board your overnight bus to Delhi and spend the night reflecting on the adventure, landscapes, and memories made in Spiti.
