Welcome to India Trek Adventure Company. By booking any trek, tour, expedition, camping experience, or adventure activity with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only after we receive the required advance payment and issue a booking confirmation via email or other official communication. Before making any online payment, customers are advised to confirm trip dates and seat availability with our team.
Once you receive your booking confirmation, it is your responsibility to review all the details carefully and notify us of any discrepancies within 48 hours. India Trek Adventure Company reserves the right to accept or decline any booking at its sole discretion.
An advance payment is required to reserve your place on any trip, while the remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days before the departure date unless otherwise specified. Failure to complete the payment within the prescribed time may result in automatic cancellation of your booking.
All prices are subject to applicable GST and government taxes. Where Tax Collected at Source (TCS) is applicable under Indian tax regulations, the same shall be payable by the customer.
Although we make every effort to maintain published prices, tour costs may change prior to booking confirmation due to changes in transportation charges, accommodation rates, fuel prices, taxes, or operational expenses.
Once your booking is confirmed, the agreed tour price will remain unchanged except where you request additional services or upgrades.
Adventure travel is influenced by weather, terrain, road conditions, government regulations, and several other factors beyond our control. Therefore, India Trek Adventure Company reserves the right to modify, postpone, reroute, or cancel any itinerary whenever necessary in the interest of safety or operational requirements.
In such situations, we will make every reasonable effort to provide suitable alternatives or comparable arrangements. However, delays or changes caused by natural disasters, landslides, floods, road closures, political unrest, transportation disruptions, pandemics, or similar unforeseen circumstances shall not entitle participants to compensation.
Cancellation requests made by customers will be processed according to our published Cancellation & Refund Policy available on our website, and all refunds will be processed as per the applicable policy and banking timelines.
Adventure travel requires cooperation, discipline, and respect for fellow participants. Every participant is expected to follow the instructions of trek leaders, guides, and support staff throughout the journey. Participants must respect local communities, wildlife, natural surroundings, and cultural heritage while maintaining responsible behaviour at all times. Any behaviour that is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, illegal, or likely to endanger others may result in immediate removal from the trip without any refund or compensation.
Many of our treks and adventure activities involve physical exertion and take place in remote locations. By booking a trip, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, disabilities, pregnancy, allergies, dietary restrictions, or ongoing treatments that may affect your participation.
Failure to disclose such information may result in refusal to participate without refund if we reasonably believe that your health or safety, or that of other participants, may be compromised. In the event of illness, injury, emergency evacuation, rescue, hospitalization, or additional medical assistance during the trip, all associated expenses shall be borne entirely by the participant or their family.
While our team will provide reasonable assistance wherever possible, India Trek Adventure Company cannot guarantee the availability or quality of medical facilities in remote destinations.
During the course of our trips, photographs and videos may be taken by our team for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes. By participating in our tours, you grant India Trek Adventure Company permission to use such photographs and videos without additional compensation. If you do not wish to appear in promotional material, you must notify us in writing before the commencement of your trip.
Certain services such as transportation, accommodation, camping facilities, airlines, local guides, or other arrangements may be provided by independent third-party vendors. While we carefully select our service partners, India Trek Adventure Company acts only as the organiser and shall not be held responsible for delays, deficiencies, negligence, or failures in services provided by independent operators. Any claims relating to such services shall be governed by the terms and policies of the respective service provider.
Adventure travel involves inherent risks, including accidents, injuries, illness, permanent disability, or even loss of life. By choosing to participate, you voluntarily accept these risks and acknowledge that India Trek Adventure Company cannot eliminate all hazards associated with outdoor activities. We shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, loss or damage to personal belongings, flight delays, missed connections, government restrictions, natural disasters, theft, weather-related disruptions, or any indirect or consequential losses arising during your journey.
However, nothing contained in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability where such limitation is prohibited under applicable law.
Participants are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings, including luggage, electronic devices, cameras, trekking equipment, and valuables. India Trek Adventure Company accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property. Similarly, no refund or adjustment will be provided for missed activities, unused accommodation, meals, transportation, late arrivals, early departures, or voluntary withdrawal from the tour once it has commenced.
We are committed to responsible and sustainable tourism. Participants are expected to protect the environment by avoiding littering, respecting wildlife, minimizing their ecological impact, and following Leave No Trace principles. Respect for local customs, traditions, and communities is an essential part of every journey organised by India Trek Adventure Company.
By confirming your booking with India Trek Adventure Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, along with all other applicable policies published by the company. You also agree to sign any required indemnity or risk acknowledgment forms before participating in adventure activities whenever requested.
